Does your car pull or drift away from a straight line when you let go of the wheel? Have you noticed that your wheels are wearing out quicker than they should? If so, you may need a wheel alignment. At Auto Repair Technology Inc, we offer affordable wheel alignments for a wide range of cars and trucks.
Stay Safe with Wheel Alignments
There are plenty of benefits to getting your wheels aligned, such as:
But the most important benefit is the one for your safety. Wheel alignment can make your car significantly safer to drive.
We’ve all been there; you hit an unexpected pothole and you feel that pothole can be the one to significantly damage your wheels. Oftentimes it’s not (thankfully), but other times, especially after consistent encounters with potholes, it is.
Other actions that can affect your wheel’s alignments include smacking into curbs or hitting a rock. It’s usually not major encounters that throw off your wheel’s alignment; it’s usually the regular bumps and bangs of daily driving that add up and eventually take your vehicle out of alignment. That’s why our advisers at Auto Repair Technology may suggest having your alignment checked periodically.
If your wheels are out of alignment you may notice that your car pulls to one side or the other. Not only can this be annoying, but it can also affect your safety while driving. A wheel alignment will help your car drive better as well as protect you against accidents.
Because your vehicle is pulling to one side, you’re putting additional wear and tear to the side of the car doing more of the work. This means that over time, the tires doing more work will wear down faster, and you’ll be left with uneven tires. You may not notice it at first, but it will become increasingly evident as you continue to drive with unaligned wheels and are forced to steer your vehicle straight.
At Auto Repair Technology Inc, we make wheel alignments a snap. When you bring your vehicle into our shop for an alignment service, we measure each wheel’s alignment to see where they are relative to factory specifications. While we have the vehicle on the alignment rack, we inspect the tires, suspension, and steering components for damage or wear since these are all the things that are impacted with unaligned tires and can contribute to steering problems.
With some sedans you can adjust all four wheels so we bring all wheels into alignment. On those vehicles where you can only adjust the front wheels, we bring the front into alignment relative to the rear.
Cost varies by whether or not it’s two or four wheel adjustable. Four-wheel drive vehicles may have an additional charge because they’re more difficult to align. At any rate, it’s cheaper than having to replace your tires every few months.
We Look Forward to Serving You and Your Vehicle.
